Cristina Hanes (she/her) is a Romanian producer-director who collaborates with NoCut Film Collective and deFilm. Currently, she is involved as a producer for Matryoshka by Maricarmen Merino Mora and Zero Hour by Nachiket Guttikar and Deeksha Ketkar. NoCut’s co-production No Winter Holidays world premiered at 2023 Sheffield DocFest. Hanes also co-directed and co-produced A Rifle and a Bag. Her film António e Catarina won the Pardino D’oro for Best International Short at 2017 Locarno Festival and she is an Alumna of DocNomads MA, Berlinale Talents, and Aristoteles Workshop.
