Nicole Chi Amén (she/her) is a Costa Rican-Chinese director, writer, and producer of documentary and narrative films. Her work has screened at Telluride, SXSW, Visions du Réel, and Holly Shorts, among others, and she has been recognized with the Director's Guild of America’s Student Film Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement and the Princess Grace Award for Emerging Artists in Film. She was part of the Berlinale Talents Guadalajara and a Fulbright Fellow.
