Arum Nam (she/her) directed Pink Feminist (2018), a short personal documentary about her feminist mother and herself, during Korea’s #MeToo movement. During the pandemic, she co-directed the AR documentary Teleporting (2022) with Japanese filmmakers, which screened at HotDocs and other international festivals. Her first feature-length film, K-Family Affairs (2023), won top awards at DMZ Docs and the Taiwan International Film Festival, and was selected for the Best of Fests section at IDFA. Arum studied documentary filmmaking at the Korea National University of Arts.
