Naziha Karima Arebi (she/her) is a BAFTA-nominated Libyan-British artist and filmmaker working at the intersection of art and activism and drawn to stories that center identity, class, and collective power. Her films include Freedom Fields (2018), which screened at TIFF, IDFA, BFI, BlackStar Film Festival, and others; After A Revolution (2021) which screened at IDFA, CPH:DOX, and HotDocs; Untold Chaos (2021), which screened at Sheffield DocFest and on The Guardian amongst others. Her writing and photography have been published online and in print at Brownbook, Monocle, The Outpost, Critical Muslim, The Guardian, Mashallah News and her artwork and installations have been exhibited globally. She is co-founder of Rawiyat and HuNa Collective, is a Sundance Lab Fellow, and is part of Lumieres D’Afrique. Adjacent to art and filmmaking, Naziha also works as a programmer, mentor, and cultural facilitator.
