Myriam el Hajj (she/her) is a Lebanese filmmaker and actress. Her first documentary, Trêve (A Time to Rest), premiered at Visions du Réel and screened at numerous international festivals, winning awards including the SCAM Audiovisual Discovery Award. Her second documentary, Diaries from Lebanon, premiered at Berlinale-Panorama in 2024. Myriam teaches cinema at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts. She is a founding member of Rawiyat-Sisters in film, a collective of women filmmakers from the Arab world and the diaspora.
