Minji Ma (they/them) studied fiction and documentary filmmaking. They engage in projects that intersect art and activism through visual storytelling, specializing in creating films and writing essays that examine feminism from a class perspective. Their debut film Family in the Bubble won awards at the EBS International Documentary Festival and received an honorable mention at the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival. It aired on Yle and NHK World. They are now in post-production for their second film Grounding.
