Jean Dakar (he/him) was born to Syrian-Turkish parents and has been raised between Germany, Spain, and the UK. Jean graduated in Film Production from the Arts University Bournemouth and began his career as a cinematographer in London. His work on documentaries as a cinematographer and producer has taken him from the ex-colonial stone town of Mozambique to the Arctic Siberian tundra.

Jean is the producer of The Mammoths that Tried to Escape the Kingdom of Elrih Khan.
