A Sundance Lab Fellow and Grantee named “an auteur to watch” by the Advocate, Drew Denny (she/her) is passionate about representing women and LGBTQ+ characters. She has made more than a dozen documentaries, including Survivor Made (2024), which follows survivors of gender-based violence and was executive produced by Padma Lakshmi, Nava Mau, and Roxane Gay, and Second Nature (2025), narrated by Elliot Page. Drew’s narrative work includes the action comedy Momster, which premiered at Tribeca and Wander Woman, a comedy pilot voted Best Episodic at the 2025 Boulder International Film Festival. Her first feature, The Most Fun I’ve Ever Had With My Pants On, won multiple awards and screened at 50 festivals; her one-woman show-turned podcast, Asking For It, was nominated for the first-ever Podcast Academy Awards in 2021. Her work has been supported by the Sundance Documentary Fund Grant and the Frameline Completion Grant.
