
Corine Shawi (she/her) has directed four short documentaries and three feature-length films. E muet premiered at FID Marseille International Competition, while Perhaps what I fear does not exist premiered at Dok Leipzig International Competition, winning Best Documentary and special jury prizes at the Columbus and Fidadoc festivals. Her work delves into themes of intimacy, family dynamics, fear, and love. Additionally, she conducts TAABIR film language workshops and has been teaching filmmaking courses at Saint Joseph University since 2011.
