Arya Rothe (she/her) is a filmmaker based in India and co-founder of NoCut Film Collective. A Rifle and a Bag was her debut film. She is currently co-producing two documentaries that received support from IDFA Bertha Fund, DMZ Docs, Creative Europe, and Visions du Réel. Her films have been selected to pitch at forums like Hot Docs and Sheffield MeetMarket, and she has worked as a director, writer, and editor on films for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Arte, and RTBF.
