Yasaman Sharifmanesh (she/her) is a documentary filmmaker, journalist, and photojournalist focused on the Middle East. She was born in Iran and later studied in Sweden. Her documentary debut Aboli’s Journey (2021) won the Nordic Documentary Film Award at Nordisk Panorama. Yasaman is currently developing two feature documentaries that take place in the Middle East.

Yasaman Sharifmanesh is the director of 2025 (Egg)celerator Lab Finalist film I Am an Olive Tree.
