Vulcanica Pokaropa (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and PhD candidate in Arts at UNESP. She is the first trans woman to exhibit at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, and her project Desaquenda is now part of the museum’s collection. She has received multiple awards, including the Proac Cultural Citizenship Award.
