Thomas Allen Harris (he/him) is an award-winning artist whose work across film, photography, and performance illuminates the human condition and the search for identity, family, and spirituality. Harris co-founded the Family Pictures Institute for Inclusive Storytelling, which connects people through the family photo album; the organization grew out of his transmedia project Digital Diaspora Family Reunion and PBS series Family Pictures USA. He is currently working on the documentary film and community outreach initiative My Mom,The Scientist, which explores African American participation in STEM.
