Stina Gardell (she/her) is a director and producer of documentary film, educated at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. She founded the production company Mantaray Film in 2005 and has since produced more than 30 documentaries with theatrical release and co-produced 10 international documentaries. She received the Nordic Documentary Producer Award 2023 and has been awarded several prestigious film awards over the years: Guldbaggen (The Swedish Academy Awards), PRIX-Europa, Kristallen, Ikarospriset, Silverfjärilen, Dorispriset, Filmfoten, and twice Best Documentary at Prix Italia.
