After starting her career at the National Film Board of Canada, Sahar Yousefi (she/her) went on to independently produce and finance projects selected by Sundance, Hot Docs, SFFILM, SXSW, and Rotterdam. Her previous work has also been funded by the Sundance Institute, the Doha Film Institute, Telefilm Canada, IDFA Bertha Fund, Hot Docs Crosscurrents, AFAC, and many others. She is an alumnus of the Berlinale Doc Toolbox Lab, Hot Docs Accelerator Lab, RIDM Talent Lab, ACE Mentorship Program, EAVE, and Torino SeriesLab.
