Russell Long’s Executive Producer credits include Against The Tide (PBS/POV), which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, winning Grand Jury Prize: World Cinema Documentary, Pay or Die which premiered at SXSW in 2023 (MTV Documentary Films), Sweet Dreams (Apple/Prime), which made its debut at DOC NYC in 2012, winning an HBO Producer Award, and Someplace with a Mountain (PBS World) which premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in 2010. He produced and directed Room To Breathe in 2013 (PBS World) which premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival. Previously, was the founder of the environmental group Bluewater Network which he later merged into Friends of the Earth, U.S., after leading successful efforts to reduce greenhouse gas pollution from automobiles, air and water pollution from large vessels and marine craft, and toxic flame retardant chemicals in home furnishings.
