Rachell Shapiro (she/her) is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with 17 years of experience. As a producer on The American Diplomat, she oversaw and managed the film’s budget, shoot planning and coordination, and collaborated with the creative team on story development, structure, and the post-production process. Her credits include directing and producing the award-winning fictional short From Hell to Here, distributed to universities and Veterans Affairs Centers around the country, and co-producing Peace Through Education, which won Best Contemporary Documentary at the DocMiami International Film Festival. She is co-founder of FLOWSTATE Films and writes, directs, and produces projects for non-profits, corporations, and educational institutions.
