Nicole Docta (she/her) is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who has focused her career on producing socially provoking BIPOC stories. Her latest projects include producing the Emmy Award-winning Belly of the Beast (2020) and the duPont Award-winner Through The Night (Tribeca 2021). She’s currently the Conversations Program Lead at A-Doc. Nicole was named to DOC NYC’s “40 Under 40” list and is a PGA Create alum, a Sundance Producer Fellow, an Impact Partners Producer Fellow, and a Sundance Asian American Fellow.
