Melani Wood (she/her) is an award-winning filmmaker and producer working across narrative film and documentary. Originally from British Columbia and now based in Nova Scotia, she has been creating films on Canada’s East Coast since 2012. Her recent credits include The Snake, which won the Narrative Feature Special Jury Award for Best Performance at SXWS, the six-time Canadian Screen Award–nominated series Everybody’s Meg, and The Last Days of April, which premiered at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
