Marah Strauch (she/her) is a director, producer, and writer known for her work in documentary films, unscripted TV, and commercials. Her documentary feature, Sunshine Superman, profiled BASE jumping creator Carl Boenish; it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim, and was distributed by Universal Pictures, CNN Films, and Magnolia Pictures. Marah also directed an ESPN original as part of the "Pioneer Series," exploring the intersection of sports and art through street skater Mark Gonzales, and her most recent feature documentary, Vice Versa: Chyna, premiered on VICE and HULU. Throughout her career, Marah has produced and directed over 100 hours of content in 30+ countries, collaborating with esteemed networks and brands such as CNN, VICE, ESPN, HGTV, POPSUGAR, American Express, and Adidas. Marah is a dual Austrian American citizen and was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.
