Kate McLarnon has worked since 2006 as an ethnographer and documentary filmmaker and holds a masters with distinction in Visual Anthropology. Kate’s work has been shortlisted for BBC World Young Film-Maker of the Year Award, an IMTV Music Video Award, a Chime Communications Cymbal Award and she has had short films shown in galleries and festivals worldwide. She collaborates with anthropologists, journalists, artists, and charities, using film in innovative ways to express, investigate and create. With Postcode Films, Kate has worked with leading arts and research organisations in the UK, and with Satya Films she is developing her first feature.
