Juyeon Yang (she/her) is a South Korean documentary director exploring women's narratives and unrecorded history. Her hybrid feature debut, My Missing Aunt (2024), premiered in competition at Jeonju IFF and screened at Hot Docs. The project received a Special Mention at DOK Co-Pro Market and funding from Audio Cine Films, the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), and the Hot Docs CrossCurrents Fund. Juyeon is known for her award-winning short The Trails of Grandma’s Home (2015).
