Jennifer Ngo (she/her) is a journalist and documentary filmmaker. Trained to ask questions and think creatively, she believes in the power of stories to change lives, and strives to tell them with empathy and deference to those involved. Her debut feature Faceless, about the protests in Hong Kong, premiered at Hot Docs in 2021. Jennifer is currently producing two other features with first-time directors on topics related to their communities. Her other work can be seen on BBC, PBS, and Al Jazeera.
