Irena Taskovski (she/her) is an international film sales and acquisitions specialist and a new business developer, highly experienced in setting up a film sales business and production companies, negotiating and acquiring premium content, and closing deals on content rights with worldwide broadcasters, distributors, and global SVOD providers. In 2003, Irena founded and launched the international sales and production company Taskovski films, a leading distributor of creative author-driven documentaries, which Irena currently runs as CEO and Head of Sales and Acquisitions. Irena has also worked as an external consultant and expert on marketing, sales, and festivals for HBO Europe, Asian Cinema Fund, Taiwan Film Institute, DokuIncubator, Sources, and others, and has been a juror for many international festivals.
