Eric Nyari (he/him) produces narrative features, documentaries, and 4K digital restorations of classic films. He has produced numerous films in Japan, including director Amir Naderi's Cut, which was the Opening Film of the 2011 Venice Film Festival. He produced the acclaimed documentary Ryuichi Sakamoto: Coda (dir. Stephen Nomura Schible), which screened in Venice in 2017, and Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus (dir. Neo Sora), which screened at Venice in 2023. He also produced Neo Sora's narrative debut, Happyend, which premiered at Venice in 2024.
Eric is a producer on Untitled Japanese Company Film, supported by our 2025 Research & Development Grant and on 2024 Project: Hatched film Black Box Diaries.
