Aurora Brachman (she/her) is an Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker who was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” Her films—including Hold Me Close (Sundance 2025), Joychild, Still Waters, and Club Quarantine—have been acquired by The New York Times, The New Yorker, and POV and have screened at Sundance, MoMA, and True/False. A Fulbright Scholar and Stanford MFA graduate, Aurora focuses on stories of Black, brown, and Queer people through collaborative, ethical storytelling.

Aurora Brachman is the director of 2025 (Egg)celerator Lab film Dear You.
