Anna Kapustina (she/her) is a producer based in Kyiv, Ukraine and the owner of the production company ALBATROS COMMUNICOS UKRAINE. For the first decade of her career, she produced commercials, TV programmes, and international reality shows. She has since produced multiple projects for the  Ukrainian cinematographic community,including #Babylon 13 and NGO Hero UA. Her documentary The First Company was awarded a Docudays Audience Award and recognised as the Best Ukrainian Documentary. Her film The Earth is Blue As An Orange was in the World Premiere Competition at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won Best Director Award, and has since screened at Berlinale, IDFA, CPH:DOX, Hot Docs, and more than 100 festivals, winning a total of more than 40 festival awards.
