Anjali Nayar (she/her), an Indo-Canadian filmmaker, was named one of the top 40 doc filmmakers under 40. Most recently, she made a Netflix Original about eating with Tremolo Productions; her prior work includes stories about warriors-turned-runners, environmental activists, Afro-electric pop groups, and cross-continent escapes. Her award-winning films have been supported by Cinereach, Sundance, and Tribeca; have had theatrical premieres; and have been commissioned/acquired by Netflix and Amazon. Prior to film, Anjali was a foreign correspondent for Reuters and a climate scientist.
