(She/her) As a Communications Intern, Riya supports the storytelling that amplifies and champions our filmmakers and their stories. She assists with drafting, editing, and executing content across digital communication platforms. Before joining Chicken & Egg, she began as a field organizer in her home state of Arizona, where she learned the importance of community and trust-building. Riya is currently a senior at Fordham University, majoring in Communications and Culture and minoring in Journalism. Her belief that thoughtful storytelling and genuine connection are among the best ways to make a difference is what led her to the team. In her free time, Riya can be found crafting or binge-watching her comfort shows.
